Oh SNAP! You know it’s going to be an amazing day when you hear that the next “Get Your Sexy On” interview up is the one and only Rushda “Rushtush” Moosajee from 360 Specialised Training in Cape Town!!
Rushda is one of those girls that is quite happy to be sitting on her own, but when in a crowd, she opens up and shows everyone how awesome she is!! As her Nickname goes, she is all about the Tush and there are a few tight tush’s on girls around Cape Town that should have a stamp on them that says, “Made by Rushda at 360 Specialized Training“.
So, here we go! It’s time to Get Your Sexy On With Rushda “RushTush” Moosajee!
Mike: Where are you originally from?
Rushda: I am from the beautiful city of Cape Town!
Mike: How did you get into Fitness?
Rushda: I met Chris Walsh in 2009 when I got a Complimentary session card from a friend. Suffering from shin splints and hitting a plateau in my weight-loss quest I was desperate for some real guidance. Chris was most serious and took the consultation very seriously. It felt as though I was interacting with a Professor of Functional Training. Little did I know he would change my life forever. After one session I was hooked and petrified at the same time, I had to find out more, where I could take my body, how far I could push myself, it was more than just losing weight… It was a Functional Training Journey I had to embark. The rest was history. I now have the best job ever… I don’t live for Fridays and I don’t count down the hours till the end of the day. I dream about push ups, I sleep with my trainers at my bedside and I love kettlebells more than hi heels. (Mike: That is amazing! Chris has changed the lives of many, but it is always amazing to come across yet another success story!)
Mike: What made you choose 360 Specialized Training?
Rushda: Actually, 360 Specialised Training chose me, Chris just can’t figure out how to get rid of me! (Mike: I don’t think he would ever want to get rid of you Haha!)
Mike: What is your official position at the 360 Specialized Training Gym?
Rushda: Personal Trainer and EX- Graphic Designer. I “design” physiques now ;)
Mike: What do you specialize in at the 360 Specialized Training Gym?
Rushda: Stalking Chris Walsh Haha!!
Mike: What type of Music are you into?
Rushda: Anything that speaks to my soul at the time. (Mike: I am with you 100% here! There is so much amazing music out there, it really is hard to narrow it down)
Mike: Load up your iPod, I’m keen to see what the last 5 tracks played are.
Rushda: I have Lana Del Ray on repeat. It keeps my heart rate low. (Mike: Nice!! That is one of my girlfriend’s favorite artists! Mine too actually!)
Mike: What is your Power Song?
Rushda: I don’t have a Power Song, I recite my mantras.
Mike: What is your Motto in Life?
Rushda: Depends what time of the month it is… Mostly I’ll say: Do what you love, Love what you do. Or I always ask myself: What’s the right thing to do? (as in Rush, what’s the opposite you want to do?). I’ll also remind myself: Time and attention toward repetition and sacrifice of the little things is what I need to do and what I need to do isn’t always what I love to do. Lastly: Whatever I want wants me too. (Mike: Those are pretty deep! I love them all and they are all super true! Respect!!)
Mike: When is your Birthday and what is your star sign?
Rushda: I was born on the 7th of June 1985 which makes me a Gemini. (Mike: You just scored a place in my book of awesome! You are born on the same day as my mother)
Mike: Beer or Whiskey?
Rushda: I actually prefer Water with a fresh slice of Lemon! (Mike: Way to go!! Not always a need to drink to have a jol right?!)
Mike: How many times a week do you train yourself?
Rushda: I’m training myself 5 to 6 times a week and most of the time it’s a double session for me, so twice a day! (Mike: Good for you and you can see the awesome results! I actually think ftness is a drug and 360 Specialised Training supplies the awesome vibes to go with your training session, so I’m not surprised you train like a machine!)
Mike: What is your favourite type of exercise, Cardio, Weight Training, Body Weight Training?
Rushda: WEIGHT TRAINING!!!! Give me something to lift and I won’t want to put it back down again!
Mike: As a trainer, your body is already built to perfection, but if you were to have a cheat meal, what would it be?
Rushda: I could eat a Mountain of McDonald’s given the chance! (Mike: Haha! Imagine the order at the Drive Through… “I’ll have a McMountain of your most McAwesome McBurgers”!)
Mike: Chocolate, Strawberry or Vanilla Protein Shake?
Rushda: I’d actually have to say Banoffee! (Mike: Now THAT sounds amazing!! I’ve gotta get my hands on some!!)
Mike: What is your favourite class to instruct at the 360 Specialized Training gym and why?
Rushda: I used to take Tight Tush classes! Do I need an explanation here? (Mike: Hence the name, RushTUSH I take it LoL!)
Mike: Why should people choose to train at 360 Specialized Training?
Rushda: Because I said so!! (Mike: There you have it everyone! Now get your butt’s over to the gym to see how awesome it really is!)
Mike: Road Running or Trail Running?
Rushda: There is no question! Trail all the way :)

Rushda: Im actually a loner. I like to spend my free time all alone.
